Around 4" to 7" of snow fell across parts of central and southern Wisconsin Sunday into Monday morning. After a few lingering flurries and light snow showers early, skies will start to clear Monday afternoon with highs in the teens and low 20s across the state.
More sunshine is on the way for Tuesday, but temperatures will still be cold. Clouds roll in late Tuesday night ahead of our next storm system which will bring yet another round of accumulating snow to the region.
Temperatures will be close to freezing as the system moves through on Wednesday, but it will tap into some moisture off Lake Michigan, resulting in the potential for heavy lake-enhanced snowfall.
Behind that system, sunshine returns to wrap up the week with high temperatures near-normal for this time of year.
