It sure was a nice Christmas present for their fans. The Green Bay Packers won their third straight game and continued their quest for a playoff berth with a 26-20 victory Sunday in Miami.

Now 7-8, the Packers secured the victory with three fourth-quarter interceptions. Beleaguered defensive coordinator Joe Barry deserves credit for having his guys in the right place in the second half against an explosive Miami offense.

The Packers have clinched nothing yet. Just because they’re home against the Vikings and Lions, don’t think the next two weeks will be automatic wins. Both opponents will be motivated to win. Still, the Packers figure to be tough to beat at Lambeau Field in January.

There’s been some turbulence on this ride. Don’t get off now. It’s just getting fun.
