GREEN BAY, Wis. — In the second-largest ever attended game at Lambeau Field, the 49ers stunned the Packers on a last second field goal to advance to the NFC Championship game.

San Francisco rallied by scoring 10 unanswered points in the final five minutes of the game.

The 49ers took possession with 3:20 left in the fourth quarter after a Packers three and out. They drove 44 yards in 9 plays to set up a 45-yard field goal with just seconds remaining.

NFL veteran Robbie Gould made the game-winning field goal as time expired, and San Francisco stormed the field to celebrate the shocking upset.

The Packers struggled with special teams all year and it proved to be the final nail in their coffin during the Divisional game.

Late in the fourth, Corey Bojorquez's punt was blocked and recovered for a 49ers touchdown by Talanoa Hufanga with 4:41 remaining to tie the game at 10.

Earlier in the game, the 49ers blocked a Mason Crosby field goal and video showed that the Packers special teams only had ten men on the field for the game-winning field goal.

Offense was at a premium in the matchup. AJ Dillon scored the Packers only touchdown in the first half. He later did not return after an apparent chest injury in the second half.

The Packers (13-5) earned the NFC’s top seed for a second straight season but again failed to reach the NFC Championship.

Rodgers dropped to 0-4 in career playoff matchups against the 49ers. Packers fans left Lambeau Field stunned and are now left wondering if that was the final game for quarterback Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay.

San Francisco will play the winner of Tampa Bay and Los Angeles on Sunday, Jan. 30.
