GREEN BAY. Wis. — Packers fans are still reeling from Wednesday's news that quarterback Aaron Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19.
The Packers placed Rodgers and cornerback Isaac Yiadom on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday. Rodgers will not play Sunday against the Chiefs in Kansas City.
When head coach Matt LaFleur spoke to the media Wednesday afternoon, he said he wouldn't get into Rodgers' vaccination status when asked by reporters.
The news surrounding Rodgers testing positive was first reported Wednesday morning by Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo, also with NFL Network, later reported that Rodgers is unvaccinated and that is why he is out for Sunday's game.
As of Wednesday afternoon, it's still unclear if the reigning MVP was vaccinated against COVID-19.
Rodgers told reporters on Aug. 26 at training camp that he was "immunized" against COVID-19, but did not state that he was specifically "vaccinated" against COVID-19 when asked about his vaccination status.
If Rodgers is unvaccinated, he must sit out a minimum of 10 days, be asymptomatic and test negative twice with at least 24 hours in between to rejoin the team. His status for Nov. 14 against the Seattle Seahawks is also in question.
According to Pelissero, the NFL is "aware of the current situation in Green Bay" and they are reviewing if Rodgers and the Packers violated any enforcement of COVID-19 protocols.
Jordan Love was drafted by the Packers in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He has only thrown seven regular season passes in his short time with the Packers.
When asked if Jordan Love is ready to start this Sunday, LaFleur responded, "we'll find out."
Matt LaFleur also said he is "hoping" that wide receiver Davante Adams and defensive coordinator Joe Barry will be back Thursday after being out last week due to COVID-19 protocols.
With third string quarterback Kurt Benkert already on the COVID-19 list, the Packers are reportedly bringing back Blake Bortles who was with the Packers in training camp.
