The Milwaukee Bucks are going to the NBA Finals. Sounds pretty good, doesn't it?
Saturday night's win in Atlanta, without Giannis, speaks volumes about this team.
There will be time to analyze the Finals matchup with the Phoenix Suns. Right now, the Bucks should get respect for their Eastern Conference Championship.
The third quarter that Khris Middleton had, when he scored 23 points, should always be remembered. He turned the game around.
And Jrue Holiday showed why the Bucks got him. He helped get them over the top with his heady play on both ends.
I also want to say something about Mike Budenholzer. I know he is often maligned, but it's not easy to do what he did. Reports that he would be fired if the Bucks didn't get deep in the playoffs added pressure and couldn't have been pleasant to deal with. He kept his head down and kept coaching.
The Bucks now head to Phoenix and await word on if/when Giannis can return to the court. Take a moment to salute what they've accomplished.
