Facing a must-win situation, the Bucks showed the best version of themselves in Game 6 of their playoff series against the Nets Thursday night at Fiserv Forum.

Their 104-89 victory over Brooklyn featured the ingredients that the Bucks will need to win a Game 7 on the road.

There was Giannis Antetokounmpo abusing defenders in the lane and not drifting out to take three-point shots. He finished with 30 points and 17 rebounds. There was Khris Middleton displaying his feathery touch on the way to a career playoff-high 38 points.

There was Jrue Holiday slashing his way to 21 points while providing his usual stellar defense. And there was P.J. Tucker with his tenacious defense to spark the Bucks after the Nets had trimmed the Bucks' lead to five. Yes, Kevin Durant got to 32 points. He was never comfortable though, taking 30 shots and committing seven turnovers.

It didn't seem likely this series would go to seven games after the Nets posted a 39-point victory in Game 2. But here we are.
Saturday night in Brooklyn. The winner advances to the Eastern Conference finals. The loser's season comes to an end.

The Bucks and Nets have now played nine times this season, between the regular season and the playoffs. The home team has won all nine.

The Bucks have never won a road Game 7.

Like the sign says, "history in the making."
