The Packers’ season came to an end with a 22-10 loss to the Eagles Sunday in Philadelphia in the NFC Wild Card Round.

There were a few moments where you thought the Packers might pull this off, but not many.

From the fumble on the opening kickoff until the last snap, this was not a great day for the Packers.

Injuries. Foolish penalties. Sloppy play. You’re not going to win a road playoff game against a higher seed when those things happen.

The Packers won two more regular season games than last year, but didn’t go as far in the playoffs.

In Green Bay, home of an NFL-high 13 league championships, this season will not go down in history. They won't list it on the scoreboard at Lambeau Field.

So, where do the Packers go from here? Fair question. We'll see what they do in the offseason. The draft (in Green Bay) and free agency are avenues. Trades? Internal growth and improvement? Probably all of the above. It's hard to imagine signing free agents that will make the impact Josh Jacobs and Xavier McKinney made.

The end of a season is always difficult. Even more so when your final loss was far from your best performance.
