WISCONSIN — Gwen Walz, the wife of Democratic vice presidential candidate Gov. Tim Walz, will campaign in the Badger State this weekend.

The first lady of Minnesota will travel to Wausau, Eau Claire and Hudson, Wis. This will be Gwen Walz’s eighth trip to Wisconsin.

Gwen Walz will be campaigning on behalf of her husband and his running mate, Democratic presidential nominee vice president Kamala Harris. During her time in Wisconsin, she will be supporting Get Out the Vote efforts, highlighting the stakes of the presidential election.

Campaign officials said Gwen Walz will first go to Wausau at 2 p.m., then head to Eau Claire at 4:30 p.m., before wrapping up the day in Hudson at 6 p.m.

On her last visit to Wisconsin, Gwen Walz joined first lady Jill Biden in La Crosse for a campaign event focused on education.

No additional details have been released on her trip.
