GREEN BAY, Wis. — Gwen Walz, the first lady of Minnesota and wife of Democratic vice presidential nominee Gov. Tim Walz, will visit Wisconsin on Friday, Oct. 25.

Gwen Walz will be campaigning on behalf of her husband and Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris. She will visit Green Bay, where she will encourage early voting.

The campaign said Gwen Walz will discuss the choice between the Democratic and Republican candidates in the election, stressing issues such as abortion and women’s reproductive rights, taxes and lowering costs for families and Project 2025.

This will be Gwen Walz’s eighth trip to Wisconsin since her husband became Harris’ running mate, according to the campaign. During her last trip to the Badger State, on Oct. 9, she campaigned in Beloit and Madison. At that time she also focused on women’s reproductive freedoms, lowering costs for families and Project 2025’s agenda.

The Green Bay campaign event is set to begin at 11:30 a.m. The campaign did not provide additional details.
