WISCONSIN — Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz will return to the Badger State on Friday, Sept. 13 and Saturday, Sept. 14 following the first presidential debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump, according to the Harris campaign.
Walz will arrive in Mosinee, Wis., where Trump held a rally last Saturday. He'll deliver remarks around 3:45 p.m. in Wausau at a Wisconsin Democratic Coordinated Campaign volunteer appreciation event, according to officials.
Walz will also be in Wisconsin on Saturday, when he'll hold a rally at 2:30 p.m. in Superior.
Walz was last in Wisconsin on Labor Day to campaign in front of Milwaukee-area labor leaders and supporters. This next visit will be Walz’s fourth visit to the state since he became Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate.
The visit is part of the campaign's battleground state tour. The four day “New Way Forward” tour kicks off Thursday, Sept. 12, and wraps up on Sunday, Sept. 15. It includes stops in North Carolina, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania and several other states by Harris, Walz, Second Gentleman Douglas Emhof and Minnesota First Lady Gwen Walz.
The events will range from traditional rallies to canvassing events and more.
