I do know the Packers lost their opener, 34-29 to the Eagles in Brazil.
So, big picture, what does it mean?
I didn't expect the Packers defense to turn into the 1985 Bears immediately under Jeff Hafley, but I expected more. They got some turnovers and they contained Jalen Hurts as a rusher, but they couldn't quickly stop the Eagles to get the ball back late. That would have given the Packers offense more of a chance.
The new kicker? I want to believe in Brayden Narveson. Still, you have to make a 43-yard field goal attempt in the NFL.
The slippery field? Embarrassing to the NFL.
If it compromises the game and the athletes, it's not up to league standards.
Matt LaFleur was classy in saying the Brazil experience was positive. Except for the loss, of course.
I bet that was a long and quiet flight back to Green Bay. It's just one game. But it's a long way to go for a loss.
