LA CROSSE, Wis. — Former President Donald Trump will host a town hall event in La Crosse this Thursday, Aug. 29, according to campaign officials.

The event will take place at the La Crosse Center, with remarks beginning at 6 p.m. There will be a special guest moderator, former Democratic U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard.

This is Trump’s fourth campaign visit to the Badger State this year, not including the week he was in Milwaukee for the Republican National Convention. That was the last time the former president visited the state.

Prior to that, Trump held a rally in Racine, where he cleared up his alleged comments about Milwaukee being a “horrible city.”

In a one-on-one interview with Spectrum News earlier in August, Trump mentioned he would be visiting Wisconsin in the near future and said, “I think we’re going to win Wisconsin.”

His running mate, JD Vance, has been in the Badger State four times since the Republican convention to address the press. Many of those visits coincided with Vice President Kamala Harris' visits to the state.

Those interested in attending the event can get general admission tickets here. Doors for the event open at 2 p.m.
