WISCONSIN — Doug Emhoff, the second gentleman, will visit central Wisconsin on the presidential campaign trail Saturday, July 27.

He’ll be in Wisconsin for the first time this year to campaign for his wife, Vice President Kamala Harris.

Emhoff will be the keynote speaker at the 7th Annual Hmong Wausau Festival in Wausau, Wis.

“The Hmong community has made central Wisconsin their home for nearly 50 years, and the second gentleman’s visit is both historic and warmly embraced by our community. On behalf of the Hmong community, I am excited to welcome the second gentleman to Wausau this weekend as we celebrate the 7th Annual Hmong Wausau Festival. We look forward to working together to create a brighter future for our community,” Yee Leng Xiong, chair of the Hmong Wausau Festival, said in a post on Facebook.

Emhoff will then attend a canvass lunch in Stevens Point, Wis., for Harris and other Democrats seeking election.

Additional details of the second gentleman’s Wisconsin trip have yet to be released.
