MADISON, Wis. — Four men are in custody in connection to a shooting that left one teenager dead and another three injured.
Police said on Oct. 10, 2023, at the Harmony at Grandview Commons apartment complex, several people got out of a vehicle and started shooting multiple rounds. Kyesha Miller, 15, was killed in the shooting. Miller was a sophomore at Madison East High School. Three other teenagers were hurt in the shooting.
Donivan L. Douglas, a 21-year-old man from Madison, was arrested Sunday on drug and gun charges in a different case by the Dane County Sheriff’s Office. Police said they referred Douglas for charges of intentional homicide, attempted homicide and first-degree recklessly endangering safety on Tuesday.
Javian D. White, 23, was arrested Tuesday on a probation hold. Police said they referred White for charges of intentional homicide, attempted homicide and first-degree recklessly endangering safety on Wednesday.
Wilson D. Clark, 21, was already in custody at Dane County Jail for a different case, but police referred him for charges in the October case of intentional homicide, attempted homicide and first-degree recklessly endangering safety on Wednesday.
Reginald Sexton, 21, was already in custody at Racine County Jail. Police referred him for charges in the October case of intentional homicide, attempted homicide and first-degree recklessly endangering safety on Wednesday.
Police said they are still working to determine a motive in the homicide case.
Police said additional arrests could be possible in the future as the investigation is active and ongoing.
