MILWAUKEE — When the Republican National Convention begins Monday morning, businesses across Milwaukee will have a major opportunity to market and promote themselves. 

Brian Bennett, President of STIR Advertising and Integrated Messaging, said businesses looking to get some last minute publicity should try to find ways to draw in the media. 

Bennett said media outlets from across the world will be in Milwaukee and searching for positive stories to tell about Wisconsin. 

Bennett added the marketing opportunity for Milwaukee as a city is also massive. 

He said the city will see the impact of all the RNC-related attention almost instantly. Bennett said if visitors to Milwaukee return to their home communities and talk about how impressive and welcoming the city was, the benefit to Milwaukee's brand will start immediately.
