MILWAUKEE — The Republican National Convention kicked off Sunday night with a welcome party for delegates in downtown Milwaukee.

Monday, former President Donald Trump announced Ohio Sen. JD Vance as his running mate. Trump also secured enough delegates to become official GOP presidential nominee.

On Wednesday, JD Vance officially accepted the GOP's vice presidential nomination. Thursday, former President Donald Trump accepted the nomination for president.
