WISCONSIN — Crowned as the new Miss Wisconsin late last month, after coming up just short in 2023, Beaver Dam's Mandi Genord is no stranger to pageant success, having won the Miss Wisconsin's Outstanding Teen scholarship competition in 2018.
"From there, I kind of got the bug and couldn't leave," Genord said.
Before serving as Miss Wisconsin statewide over the next year and competing as Miss Wisconsin in the upcoming Miss America competition, the 22-year-old said she is planning for her life away from the stage, as she's in the midst of applying to law schools.
"I'll be balancing both of those, which I don't think will be an issue because everyone in this organization is incredible at helping me achieve everything I want to do," Genord said.
