GREEN BAY, Wis. — HSHS St. Vincent Children’s Hospital in Green Bay shared photos of some of the babies in its NICU in festive July 4 attire. 

"Our newborn intensive care unit [NICU] babies have been dressed up in their most patriotic apparel, bringing festive cheer and spreading joy to families and colleagues," the hospital shared. 

Meet some of the youngest patients in the hospital this holiday: Caleb, Grace, Owen, Vivian, Walden and Waylon: 

HSHS St. Vincent Children’s Hospital in Green Bay was the first to have a Level III NICU in its region. More than 50 years later, HSHS St. Vincent Children’s Hospital said its NICU is also the longest-running and largest in the area, with 26 beds for babies in need of care. 

Neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, registered nurses, developmental therapists, lactation consultants, respiratory therapists, and social workers provide 24/7 care for infants born prematurely, babies with low birth weights, those with congenital birth defects and newborns who experienced unanticipated complications during delivery.
