MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that occurred early Friday morning in Milwaukee.

Police said a black Kia was traveling at a high speed when it lost control and collided into a pole at the 2700 block of West Center Street.

The 23-year-old driver and 22-year-old passenger were pronounced dead at the scene, according to Milwaukee Police. 

Police said there are no suspects regarding the crash at this time, however, the investigation is ongoing. 

This is the second consecutive night where multiple people were killed in a high-speed crash in Milwaukee. 

Three people were killed early Thursday morning in a fatal crash on 49th & Oklahoma Avenue and a 27-year-old motorcyclist was killed Wednesday night in a crash on Chase Avenue.

This makes six traffic deaths tied to speeding and reckless driving in Milwaukee in just over 24 hours.
