Wisconsin filmmaker, Aidan White, works two jobs to support his dream of becoming a full-time filmmaker.

White wrote and directed “Inside A Dream,” which is a tribute to the iconic filmmaker, David Lynch.

“It’s about a 26-minute short film, and it basically walks through the mind of David Lynch and explores different stories within these well-established universes," said White.

White’s film was presented in a multimedia presentation with a 10-piece live band at Milwaukee’s Turner Hall earlier this year.

White said his multimedia presentation got such a great response that he’s taking it on the road. He’s working on a new version of his short film is in the works that doesn’t include live music. He said this will give him more opportunities to submit his work to festivals around the country.

Remme said he’s inspired by the creative talent in Wisconsin.

“I think Wisconsin is really a hotbed for all kinds of artists, whether they are musicians, filmmakers, photographers or actors. I see just the outpouring of creativity coming from so many avenues within the community and I think it is really important that we as Wisconsinites get behind the arts movement,” said Remme.

It’s a movement that supports artists like White, who summed up his love for making films in one sentence.

“I love that it’s the closest that you can show someone what a daydream looks like inside you,” said White.
