Doggy Day will benefit Winston’s Wishes and its mission of helping local dogs in need. Last year’s Doggy Day raised over $20,000 for Winston’s Wishes.

Winston’s Wishes is a volunteer run, nonprofit organization that focuses on supporting dogs who aren’t doing well in the busy shelter environment, senior dogs or dogs in need of extra care.

Winston's Wishes has a dog sanctuary that spans more than five acres. It includes an 11,000 square-foot play yeard for four doggie condos. Each condo has large windows, dimmable lights, sound eliminating panels and cameras. Dogs who enter the nonprofit's care get to "decompress" at the sanctuary before finding a foster family or a fur-ever home.

This Doggy Day, Winston’s Wishes will also celebrate their 10-year anniversary.

The third annual Doggy Day will include 80 local vendors and food trucks, radio personalities Ally and DZ and music from DJ Gee-A. Plus there will be prizes and activities for people and pups alike.

Owners should refrain from retractable leashes and aversive collars.
