EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — OakLeaf Clinics will open four clinics in western Wisconsin that are losing Prevea Health locations.

All Prevea Health locations will close before April 21.

The new OakLeaf Clinics will be in Cornell, Ladysmith, Menomonie and Rice Lake.

“Local access to high-quality healthcare is critical for communities to thrive,” said Chris Longbella, M.D. President of OakLeaf Clinics, in a press release. “We moved quickly to fill the healthcare needs in these communities with talented providers with deep connections to their communities and help ensure a seamless continuity of care for patients no longer able to access the HSHS/Prevea system.”

OakLeaf Clinics also hired Prevea physicians, nurse partitioners and medical staff and will maintain all services offered previously by these doctors and nurse practitioners.
