MILWAUKEE — Monday night at Fiserv Forum, the Bucks came from behind to defeat the L.A. Clippers, 113-106.

The Bucks are now 6-0 since the All-Star break.

The Bucks played without Giannis Antetokounmpo because of Achilles Tendinitis. Khris Middleton remained out with an ankle injury.

Despite those two large absences, the Bucks found a way to win. They trailed by eight going to the fourth quarter and by as many as 15 in the third quarter. Damian Lillard had 41 points. Bobby Portis contributed 28 points and 16 rebounds.

Even if you want to subscribe to the theory that the Clippers had dead legs on the second night of a back-to-back, the Bucks deserve a ton of credit for prevailing without its best player against a good team.

That tired stat of the Bucks starting 3-7 under Doc Rivers? That’s long gone. The Bucks are playing well as they head west.

They’ve served notice to the rest of the NBA: they’re coming.
