TWO RIVERS, Wis. — An Amber Alert was issued Tuesday afternoon for Elijah Vue.

The caregiver, who has not been named, reported Vue was missing to the Manitowoc County Joint Dispatch Center at 10:59 a.m. Tuesday. There is no family or “associates” in the area, according to police.

He is a 3-year-old male with sandy colored hair and brown eyes. Two Rivers Police Department said he “was described as having Hmong and white ethnicity.”

He has a birthmark on his left knee. He is 3-feet-tall and weighs 45 pounds.

“Local, state, and federal resources were requested to assist with the search. These resources included, but are not limited to, canine and drone units,” Chief of Police Ben Meinnert wrote in-part on a Facebook post on the Two Rivers Police Department page.

As search efforts continue, law enforcement asked the public to not use personal drones or dogs to try to locate Vue, as it could interfere with law enforcement’s search.

Police asked residents to search any outbuildings, vehicles or concealed areas on personal property. Those with surveillance cameras or Ring doorbells are asked to check footage for images of Vue.

In a Saturday update on Facebook, the Two River Police Department cautioned people about scams and fake videos circulating on the internet.

Officers thanked the public for their many search efforts.

“We appreciate everyone’s joint concern and dedication in locating Elijah,” the post read in part.

As of 8:35 p.m. Saturday, police said search efforts were ongoing. Local, state and federal agencies are involved.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 1-844-267-6648. The P3 app can also be used to submit anonymous tips. Officials also said anyone with information leading to the location of Vue, or arrest of those involved, could be eligible to receive a reward of up to $1,000 through Manitowoc County Crime Stoppers.
