MILWAUKEE — Brandon Woodruff will be back in a Brewers uniform, according to Jon Heyman of the NY Post. 

The Brewers 2020 and 2021 Opening Day starter has reportedly signed a 2-year deal with the club.

After the departure of Corbin Burnes earlier this offseason, Brewers fans will be relieved to have one of their best pitchers in recent years back in Milwaukee.

Woodruff likely won't return until 2025. He's expected to miss the entire 2024 season after he underwent shoulder capsule surgery after the 2023 season. 

In 11 starts for the Brewers last year, Woodruff had a 2.28 ERA with a 0.82 WHIP.
