WISCONSIN — The price at the pump in Wisconsin is on the upswing again, with AAA estimating that gas prices have climbed statewide by nearly $0.30/gallon over the past week.

"The refinery in Whiting, Indiana — there was a power outage so the refinery shut down," said Molly Hart with AAA. "That can cause the price at the pump to go up."

But that's just one factor in the price increase, which is not necessarily expected to dip any time soon.

"Refineries also go into maintenance this time of year, so they're not going to be producing at full capacity," Hart said. "We're also going to be switching to the summer blend in the next couple of weeks, and the summer blend of gas is more expensive, too."
