The Packers hit them. Hard. Upsetting the Cowboys 48-32.

The final score was somewhat misleading because the Cowboys scored some points after the game had been settled. Dallas was the second seed and had a 16-game home winning streak. So much for that.

These young Packers just keep crashing the party and surprising people. My guess is it was Mike McCarthy’s last game as Cowboys coach.

Matt LaFleur deserves credit for setting an aggressive tone (winning the coin toss, taking the ball and driving for a touchdown) and getting his players to believe they could win. The Packers offense sliced up Dan Quinn’s vaunted Dallas defense.

Jordan Love was sensational in his playoff debut as a starter. A perfect passer rating. Texas native Aaron Jones rushed for three touchdowns. Romeo Doubs was the best receiver on the field.

Now the Packers will go to California to play the top-seeded 49ers. The Packers will be underdogs again. Does it matter?
