MILWAUKEE — A child’s body was found in a dumpster on the 5500 block of W. Vliet Street on Thursday.

The Milwaukee Police Department identified the body as 5-year-old Prince McCree, who was reported missing just before 6 p.m. Wednesday.

His body was found just before 9 a.m. the following morning and police are now investigating the incident as a homicide. Police said foul play is suspected and the cause of death is under investigation.

Law enforcement said a 27-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy are two persons of interest, and noted that this is a fluid and ongoing investigation.

McCree was last seen in the 2400 block of N. 54th Street at approximately 1 p.m. Wednesday.
