"Right here in Green Bay, with the support of Crucial Catch, health clinics are connecting more people to screening and helping more patients navigate their cancer care," Biden told the crowd gathered at Discover Green Bay.

In 2016, President Biden led an initiative as vice president called Cancer Moonshot, which focused on speeding up the fight against cancer on all fronts.

Last year, the Biden family picked up where they left off with a new goal for the nation to reduce the cancer death rate by at least 50% over the next 25 years.

"We may come from different places, and cheer for different teams—I was cheering on my Eagles last night—cancer touches us all," Biden added. "That’s true for my family, and I know, for far too many of yours as well. That’s why the president and I reignited the Biden Cancer Moonshot—our White House initiative to build a world where cancer is not a death sentence."

Biden is scheduled to tour the Menominee Tribal Enterprises’ sawmill in Neopit, Wis. to learn about sustainable forest management, followed by a trip to the College of Menominee Nation to see the tribe’s approach to community education and sustainable development. The first lady will wrap up her visit by attending a Women’s Empowerment Summit in Keshena, Wis.
