MADISON, Wis. — First lady Jill Biden will travel to Madison today.

She’s expected to address several things while she’s in town.

In the afternoon on Thursday, she’ll participate in a tour and listening session with Sen. Tammy Baldwin on “the importance of early detection and improving access to cancer screenings,” according to White House officials. It’s a part of the Biden Cancer Moonshot national initiative, which aims to end cancer.

Later in the day, the First Lady will give remarks at an educator appreciation event in Madison as a part of her back-to-school events. She will be joined by the National Education Association and American Federation of Teachers.

Finally, she’ll attend and give more remarks at a “political finance” event along with Sen. Tammy Baldwin. That’s expected to take place in the evening.

Before landing in the Badger State, Biden will be in Indianapolis and Chicago for back-to-school and Labor Day events.

The White House did not share any further details about Biden’s Wisconsin visit.
