MILWAUKEE — The Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival broke attendance records this year, according to officials.
Thousands came from out of town to witness the tribute to the 120-year history of the motorcycle brand.
Over 80,000 motorcycle and music enthusiasts gathered for shows by Green Day and the Foo Fighters in Veterans Park throughout the weekend.
Across the four days, about 73,000 bikes also lined the Harley-Davidson Museum grounds and Sixth Street downtown. Another 130,000 attendees enjoyed food from food trucks, motorcycle displays and demo ride opportunities, stunt shows and more.
As an epic end to the Homecoming event, organizers led a motorcycle parade winding through Wisconsin Avenue. There were around 7,000 motorcycles that took part.
Events were also hosted at six Milwaukee-area Harley-Davidson dealerships, including in Greenfield, Milwaukee, Thiensville, Kenosha, West Bend and Oconomowoc.
Another notable event from the weekend was the unveiling of the new 2023 CVO™ Street Glide® and CVO™ Road Glide® models, which showcased advanced technology and rider comfort.
Harley-Davidson also announced they’ll be back next year for a Homecoming event from July 25-28, 2024.
