MILWAUKEE — For the fourth time ever and the first time since 2018, the U.S. Navy this week has brought Navy Week back to Milwaukee.
"We're going to have around 75 outreach programs throughout the week," said U.S. Navy Machinist’s Mate First Class Brandon Antrea. "This is all going to lead up to the air show that's going to happen on Saturday and Sunday."
In addition to various community events and volunteer opportunities, this week can also serve as a reminder to potential recruits about all of the opportunities the U.S. Navy has to offer.
"The Navy's diverse," Antrea said. "We've got a lot of things going on if you're going to join the Navy— you could potentially be stationed on a ship, you could potentially be stationed overseas, you could be working with the Marines— there are a lot of things one could do."
