FRANKLIN, Wis. — Franklin, Wis., is going to look a little more festive this holiday season.
Enchant Christmas, the world’s largest Christmas light maze, is headed to Franklin Field at Ballpark Commons this year.
Enchant Christmas, which spreads holiday cheer over more than 10 acres, includes a light maze, holiday marketplace, an ice skating trail, live entertainment, interactive games and visits with Santa. The light maze acts as the centerpiece of the event with “larger-than-life, custom-designed and story-driven light sculptures.”
While this is the first year Enchant Christmas is heading to the Milwaukee area, it’s been making cities merry and bright since 2016. In the past, light maze themes have centered around themes such as “Santa’s Magic Timepiece” — where patrons were on the hunt for holiday stars throughout the maze — and “The Great Search” — which centered around rounding up all of Santa’s reindeer in the maze. This year’s maze theme will be announced in September. The labyrinth will be illuminated by millions of lights.
“The Franklin Field at Ballpark Commons venue is such an ideal location for the Enchant experience — it’s ready to be filled to the brim with lights. The maze we’ve designed for the coming holidays is a visual feast and it is a true delight to share it for the first time in a new city,” said Enchant CEO, Kevin Johnston.
The holiday marketplace will include shopping and food for patrons to purchase. Plus, Enchant’s “famous lightbulb cocktail” will be available for adults who want to indulge.
Nearly 300,000 people are expected to attend Enchant Christmas at Franklin Field.
Enchant Christmas will also visit Scottsdale, Ariz., St. Petersburg, Fla., San Jose, Cali. and Las Vegas this holiday season. Enchant Christmas runs from Nov. 24 to Dec. 31 in Franklin this year. Get ticket information, here.
