SAUK COUNTY, Wis. — A 13-year-old Wisconsin boy is missing near the south-central part of the state, according to the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials issued a Missing Endangered Person Alert Tuesday afternoon.
They said they believe James Yoblonski could be near Devil’s Lake State Park. According to the alert, he was last seen wearing red shoes, blue jeans, an unknown shirt and baseball hat. Officials said he weighs 120 pounds, is 5 foot 11 inches tall, has a half-inch scar on the back of his neck, blue or green eyes and brown hair.
They said the last suspected whereabouts of Yoblonski is the Baraboo Bluffs, which is near the western part of Devil’s Lake State Park and the northern area of the Sauk Prairie Recreation Area.
Officials on Monday said Yoblonski left his home overnight in a family vehicle. That vehicle was found on U.S. Highway 12.
Authorities said they, along with other area law enforcement and fire agencies, are out searching for Yoblonski.
On Tuesday morning, authorities received donations from around Baraboo as they continue search efforts.
The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information to contact them at 608-355-4495.
