GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Green Bay Area Public School District’s summer food program starts Wednesday.

The program offers free meals to all children in the community throughout the summer. Free meals are not limited to those enrolled in the Green Bay Area Public School District or those eligible for free or reduced meal benefits.

Kids can get one free meal, per type, per day. This means kids who get free breakfast can return to get free lunch, too.

Adults — anyone who is 19-years-old or older — can pay for meals with cash. Breakfast is $2.85 and lunch is $5. Extra cartons of milk can be purchased for 50 cents each.
