WISCONSIN — A new report from WalletHub claimed that when it comes to fun, Wisconsin is one of the best states to visit. 

"We know we're the most fun state in the nation," said Wisconsin Department of Tourism Secretary Anne Sayers. "That's why we just broke some tourism records, because our visitors know it, too, but we're happy to know that folks are paying attention to that, because when it comes to fun, it can be both big fun and big business, and we're seeing that in Wisconsin."

While Wisconsin's overall rank was 17th, it scored higher for both nightlife and golf-per-capita, coming in at 3rd nationwide.

"I'm not surprised to see that because I think we're the best golf state in the country," said Secretary Sayers. "I'm not alone in thinking that; Golf Digest ranks 10 of our publicly-playable courses among the top 100 in the country."
