MILWAUKEE — The Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival is here, with several events taking place across the Milwaukee area. It runs from July 13-16 and celebrates the 120th anniversary.

From music to tickets, here's what you need to know about the festival.

Who's performing?

Music headliners include Green Day on July 14 and Foo Fighters on July 15. Both bands are set to perform on stage at Veterans Park on the Milwaukee lakefront.

Also scheduled to perform at Veterans Park on July 14 are Abby Jeanne, KennyHoopla, Phantogram and The Cult. On July 15, the schedule includes Ghost Hounds, White Reaper, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts and Cody Jinks.

What other events are there?

Besides music, there are plenty of other events to enjoy. Matty Matheson's Burger Build Off is an event taking place on July 15. At the event, chef and author Matty Matheson will host a head-to-head cook-off to create the ultimate burger.

There will also be stunt shows, food and beverage vendors, special merchandise and more at Veterans Park throughout the festival.

There will be events across the area, including the Harley-Davidson Museum, Harley-Davidson Powertrain Operations and at local Harley-Davidson dealerships. Throughout the festival, the Harley-Davidson Museum grounds will feature food and beverage vendors, a display of 2023 Harley-Davidson motorcycles, evening musical entertainment and more.

The weekend celebration will be capped off that Sunday with a 120th anniversary motorcycle parade through downtown Milwaukee.

Do I need a ticket to attend?

There are both ticketed and free venues throughout the festival. Veterans Park is the only venue that requires a ticket to enter, as there are several big music headliners, food and drinks and more. Children 10 and under get in free with the purchase of an adult general admission ticket. Tickets for this venue are on sale at H-D.com/HomecomingTickets.

Festival organizers highly encourage attendees to purchase their tickets in advance, though tickets will still be sold on-site if they aren't sold out.

The Harley-Davidson Museum is free to get into but there are some paid activities. To access exhibits, tickets are require. Prices range from $22 for an adult to $8 for children ages 5-17. It's free for H.O.G. members to get in. You can get tickets online here.

What transportation options are best?

For Veteran's Park, complimentary motorcycle parking will be offered on-site. However, cars will be require to find parking in the area. Complimentary motorcycle parking will also be provided at the Harley-Davidson Museum; cars will be required to park at American Family Field and grab a shuttle to the museum. Harley-Davidson Powertrain Operations will also have complimentary parking for motorcycles.
