FOND DU LAC, Wis. — Charges have been filed against two suspects for a shooting at Maplewood Commons that left one person dead and two other injured, according to a criminal compaint.

Fond du Lac Police Department in Facebook post earlier this week identified those two suspects as 17-year-old Antonio K. Johnston and 14-year-old Parise E. Larry Jr. Temporary Felony Warrants had been entered for the two suspects.

At least one of those suspects is now in custody. Police said Larry Jr. turned himself into FDLPD Wednesday at 2:30 a.m. without incident. He's now being held at the Fond du Lac County Jail, with a bond set at $1 million, according to the complaint. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 25 at 1:30 p.m.

Suspects are facing one count of first degree intentional homicide, attempted first degree intentional homicide and first degree reckless injury as well as 13 other counts. If charged, both suspects face life in prison.

On Sunday around 6:50 p.m., FDLPD said the dispatch center received multiple 911 calls for a shooting in the area near Martin Avenue and East Pioneer Road.

Arriving shortly after, officers located three victims of the shooting, who were later transported to a hospital. The victims were a 20-year-old female, 18-year-old male and 49-year-old male.

At least one of the victims, confirmed now as 20-year-old Tatyanna PM Zech, has died. Both the 18-year-old victim and the 49-year-old are in stable condition, according to FDLPD.

After further investigation, the FDLPD said the 49-year-old victim was not connected with the shooting, but was sleeping upstairs inside his apartment. That's when a stray bullet entered the apartment and struck him, critically wounding him at the time. His 18-year-old son was downstairs during the incident when a stray bullet grazed his leg, according to police.

Following the shooting, police said the suspects fled on foot.

Police are still looking for Johnston. FDLPD said that anyone who aids and abets Johnston will be held accountable for being party to a crime.

“Do not attempt to apprehend these subjects,” police said in the Facebook post.

On Tuesday, FDLPD Detectives submitted a request to the Fond du Lac County District Attorney’s Office for nationwide arrest warrants. If issued, it would allow investigators to partner with federal law enforcement agencies, who could help in the search for the suspects.

"FDLPD will not rest until they (suspects) are found and in custody,” FDLPD Chief Aaron Goldstein said.

Police said this is still an active investigation and they’re requesting people stay out of the immediate area. Fond du Lac County Sherriff’s Office, Wisconsin State Patrol and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources are all assisting FDLPD in finding the suspects.
