GREEN BAY, Wis. — When the Green Bay Packers play the Chicago Bears Sunday at noon in Chicago, there’s more than the usual bragging rights at stake in the NFL’s oldest rivalry.

Here are three things to watch in the game.

A lot on the line

The 206th all-time meeting comes with the two teams both having 786 regular season wins. That’s tied for the most in NFL history.

The Packers have led the series against the Bears since 2017, when they wrested away a lead the Bears had enjoyed since 1932.

Packers’ recent dominance

The Packers have won the last seven games against the Bears. That’s tied for the second-longest winning streak the Packers have had in the rivalry.

The Packers won 10 straight from 1994 to 98. The Packers took the first meeting this season, 27-10 way back in Week Two, Sept. 18 at Lambeau Field.

Chicago is Packers’ kind of town

The Packers’ recent success over the Bears has also extended to games in Chicago.

They’ve won 11 of the last 12 and 23 of the last 28 games at Soldier Field. Seven of the last 10 games in Chicago have been decided by single digits.

The Packers finally get their bye after this game. They won’t play again until Monday night, Dec. 19 against the Rams at Lambeau Field.
