WALKERS POINT, Wis. — If you know anything about home improvement shows, you’ve probably heard of Chip and Joanna Gaines.

Now, a Wisconsin couple is now being featured on the Magnolia Network for their DIY work.

Creating and designing is something Jenni Yolo is immersed in. She’s been designing and doing DIY projects for over a decade.

For the past six years, she’s been renovating homes with her husband and turning them into short-term rentals. She has showcased her projects and how they are done through her Instagram.

She also has her own business called “I Spy DIY.”

“Designing houses and designing spaces is so fun to me because it is like living art. It’s a way I can express my creativity and create a space that people can enjoy,” Yolo said.

The “I Spy DIY” crew now has their own show on the Magnolia Network called “Makeover by Monday.”

“I love doing quick makeovers. I love doing a design and then see it come to fruition so quickly,” Yolo said.

In the show, Yolo works alongside her husband, family and friends to create a space on a budget in just three days. Each episode, they also feature a local Milwaukee business to showcase what the city has to offer.

“To be able to shine light on how cool this city is and how many amazing makers there are here is a dream of mine,” Yolo said.

For Yolo, this show is a dream come true. She said she’s always wanted to do something like this and is proud to be able to showcase their hard work on a platform like this.

“The whole process of doing this show has been a whirlwind,” Yolo said.

The show airs every Saturday at noon ET or 11 a.m. CT.
