MILWAUKEE — As the Milwaukee Bucks returned to Fiserv Forum for the home opener, fans in the Deer District said they they think the team is poised to make another title run.

Terry Zychowski, of Menomonee Falls, Wis., is a Bucks season ticket holder.

Holding his Giannis jersey, he said he was excited for the home opener.

“I like the win against Philadelphia the other night. You’re playing a Houston Rockets team that everyone is taking for granted but they have a lot of young talent,” said Zychowski.

Zychowksi said he thinks the team will continue to rely on Giannis to get a second championship in three years.

“The European basketball tournament with the Greek National Team really has helped him see basketball worldwide and see how players across the globe and their talent fit this team. I think his game is adjusting. He is still a superstar but he is using his teammates much better,” said Zychowski.

Darnell Roberson, of Milwaukee, said he expects the Deer District to be rocking for the Bucks this season.

“It’s awesome. It’s great to see the people get out and enjoy it. Hopefully the team that started 1-0 can be 2-0,” said Zychowski.

As the Bucks are starting the season, key players including Khris Middleton and new addition Joe Ingles, are injured. Zychowski predicted the team will have a few struggles.

“I think it is going to kind of evolve and I think their attitude has changed in that the playoffs is all that matters. Let’s be your best when you get there,” said Zychowski.

Both Zychowski and Roberson said they believe the team has a strong chance of bringing another title to Milwaukee.
