WISCONSIN — October is finally here and the countdown to Halloween has already started. Once you outfit the perfect costume, you need to know where to go, and when. 

We rounded up trick-or-treat information for more than a dozen of Wisconsin's largest cities. 

1. Milwaukee

The City of Milwaukee will host trick-or-treating hours from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 30. Days and times around the rest of the county vary. 

2. Madison

Madison officials said there are no official dates or times for trick-or-treating. Families are encouraged to check within their communities and neighborhoods for festivity details. Downtown Madison will host a Halloween event where kids can trick-or-treat at downtown businesses from 3 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26. 

3. Green Bay

Green Bay invites the community to go trick-or-treating on Monday, Oct. 31 from 4 to 7 p.m. 

4. Kenosha

The City of Kenosha has also set its trick-or-treat hours for Monday, Oct. 31 from 4 to 7 p.m. 

5. Racine

Racine's official trick-or-treating hours will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31. 

6. Appleton

Appleton-area trick-or-treaters can start ringing doorbells in their neighborhoods on Monday, Oct. 31 from 4 to 8 p.m. 

7. Waukesha

Trick-or-treating in the City of Waukesha will run from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31. However, dates and times vary throughout the county. 

8. Eau Claire

The city has no set trick-or-treat hours. Families are encouraged to check within their communities and neighborhoods for festivity details, but city officials said most will be on Monday, Oct. 31 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Downtown Eau Claire will host trick-or-treating at local business from 3 to 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31. 

9. Oshkosh

Kiddos on the hunt for candy can start ringing doorbells on Monday, Oct. 31 at 5 p.m., until 7 that night. 

10. Janesville

The City of Janesville will hold trick-or-treat hours on Monday, Oct. 31 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. this year. 

11. West Allis

In West Allis, trick-or-treaters can pick up candy from neighbors on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. 

12. La Crosse 

La Crosse officials said trick-or-treating lasts from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31. 

13. Wauwatosa

If you're on the hunt for Halloween treats in Wauwatosa, plan to hit the town on Sunday, Oct. 30 from 1 to 4 p.m. 

14. Sheboygan

Want-to-be ghosts and dazzling Disney princesses in training can start trick-or-treating in Sheboygan on Monday, Oct. 31 at 4 p.m. Trick-or-treating winds down at 7 p.m. 

15. Fond du Lac

Good news for young ones in Fond du Lac: Halloween fun starts days earlier for you. Trick-or-treating in the area will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
