WISCONSIN — Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla) will travel to Green Bay on Sunday to show his support for several Republican candidates running in the November election.

As a part of a “Unite and Win” rally, DeSantis will back GOP gubernatorial candidate Tim Michels and U.S. Senate incumbent Ron Johnson.

Both Michels and Johnson are endorsed by Turning Point Action, an organization founded by Charlie Kirk of the conservative nonprofit Turning Point USA. The organization is partnering with DeSantis for the event.

Prior to Wisconsin, DeSantis will also stop for a rally in Kansas to support Attorney General Derek Schmidt. He’s running for governor against Democratic incumbent Laura Kelly in the state.

“Gov. DeSantis is America’s governor and one of the most popular leaders in the country. He has become the model for a new conservative movement that is willing to stand on principle and to actually fight on behalf of the values of his voters,” Kirk said. “That he is willing to throw the full weight of his support behind Ron Johnson and Tim Michels in Wisconsin and Derek Schmidt in Kansas will go a long way toward energizing the grassroots base and will help get these candidates over the finish line in November.”

These rallies are the second round in a series of rallies that were held in Arizona, Pennsylvania and Ohio in August. More than 7,000 people attended those events.

Sunday’s Wisconsin rally will be held at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center in Green Bay, with general admission beginning at 4:15 p.m. The event is slated to begin at 5:30 p.m.

Tickets for the rally can be purchased on the Turning Point website.
