MILWAUKEE — Calling all dairy-lovers: A new Culver’s food truck will give out free cheese curds and frozen custard in the Deer District next week Wednesday, Aug. 3, from noon to 6 p.m.

The event is a part of the fast food company’s “From Wisconsin With Love” tour taking place across the U.S. They’ll travel to 17 cities across 14 states. Milwaukee is the 14th stop on the tour.

But it’s not just about free food.

People who stop by can expect a grandiose display of art. And it won’t be your typical Monet painting. A cheese artist will carve out an 80-pound hunk of cheese to depict some of Milwaukee’s most prized landmarks.

Plus, those that take their chances at playing the custard-themed Plinko board could win an exclusive Culver’s prize.

If you want to take a picture to commemorate your Culver’s food truck experience, don’t fret. The event will also feature a giant cheese curd-shaped photo booth.

Everyone who stops by the truck can also vote via a glass cow for which of two local charities will receive a donation of $5,000 from Culver’s. The charities for Wisconsin are Hunger Task Force and Camp Hometown Heroes.

Nothing can get cheddar than this.
