MILWAUKEE — More medical supplies are making their way from Wisconsin to eastern Europe right now as the fighting in Ukraine continues.

"We're excited and a bit overwhelmed just with the spirit of generosity from our team members, and their interest and desire to help with what is going on in Eastern Europe," Courtney Weiland, vice president of philanthropy with the ThedaCare Family of Foundations, said.

Healthcare workers with ThedaCare in Wisconsin have not only collected medical supplies to help, but they're also continuing to raise money to support medical groups on the ground in Ukraine going forward.

"We've already sent off two palettes of medical supplies, as well as continued an ongoing drive where 100% of the proceeds we raise will be donated to the International Medical Corps group, which is a nonprofit medical care organization that is providing care on the ground both in Poland and Ukraine," Weiland added.
