A study from Advocate Aurora examined more than 30 years of records for colorectal cancer patients.

It found cases rising in the 18-49 age group.

The researchers also discovered that some 50% of cases in that age group would not have been detected if only people with a family history of colorectal cancer got tested.

Dr. Nimish Vakil of Advocate Aurora joined Spectrum News 1 to discuss the study.
