MILWAUKEE — With the NBA Finals starting Tuesday, Milwaukee Bucks fans are finding some fun ways to connect with their team.

It’s a big week for the Bucks as they look to  make history once again. The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame Museum holds a lot of their rich history on their shelves. It’s no surprise Bucks fans are feeling a little extra pep in their step this week.

So much so, it’s brought the Sessions family to check out some Bucks bobbleheads.

“We wanted to come out today and see a little bit more Milwaukee history and obviously see a little more Giannis and Bango,” Bucks fan Tyson Sessions said.

Bango is his daughter Emmerson’s favorite. She even gave the large Bango bobble a kiss for good luck. While she’s been to a handful of playoff games already, she’s still in the process of learning Bucks history. Luckily she has her mom and her dad to teach her a thing or two.

“This is Oscar Robinson, dad’s favorite player,” Sessions said.

In fact the bobbblehead of Oscar Robinson is the first Bucks bobblehead made in 1969.

“His head doesn’t bobble but his ball does these are called little dribblers. This one is actually from 1969 and the Bucks became a team in ’68 and this one is from ’69 so a really cool bobble head here,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame Museum CEO Phil Sklar said.

Up and down the rows of bobbleheads in the Milwaukee Bucks section you can see former Bucks stars all the way to  current ones. Those that have won a championship, and those who are hopefully on their way.

For Sklar, being apart of this historic time is what it’s all about.

“To see the city come alive and the deer district and being able to turn those players and moments and things into bobblehead form has been really cool we have been able to do a lot of bobbleheads in the past five years or so,” Sklar said.
