MILWAUKEE — Another summer staple for Milwaukee is making a comeback in 2021.

The Night Market is set to be held from 5-10 p.m. Aug. 18 on West Wisconsin Ave between 2nd and Vel R. Phillips Avenue. The Night Market, a free, outdoor festival, showcases vendors, performers and artists across the Milwaukee area.

Local agency NEWaukee announced the return of the festival in partnership with nonprofit Westown Association. NEWaukee first kicked off the Night Market in 2014.

“We are happy to find a long-term, sustainable strategic partner for the Night Market in Westown,” NEWaukee co-founder and CEO Angela Damiani said in a media release.  “Since the pandemic our business model – like many – has shifted, and our team is focused on delivering exceptional custom experiences for our clients and ensuring that the Night Market continues its track record of success.”

As part of the brand transition, NEWaukee will work with Westown Association for several market seasons and collaborate on partnerships and sponsorships to come. 

“The Night Market aligns perfectly with our mission and goals to grow a more creative and diverse neighborhood in Downtown Milwaukee,” Westown Executive Director Stacie Callies said in the release. “We’re excited to grow this signature event and can’t wait for Aug. 18!”
