WEST ALLIS, Wis.— Coronavirus can't stop the cream puffs from coming to town.

The Wisconsin State Fair is planning to sprinkle some joy around the Badger State this holiday season with yet another limited-edition cream puff: The Cocoa Cream Puff.

Just like in October, the state fair park is going to be transformed into a dessert drive-thru from Dec. 11 to 13. Friday and Saturday pickup lasts from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., while Sunday's hours are a bit shorter, running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The team behind the new puff says these can be frozen, and then thawed and enjoyed later if you're looking for a date-specific treat, or just want to stock up.

They'll be distributing the festive treat to hungry customers. You can even pre-order the chocolatey creation.

While pre-ordering is not required, it is recommended, since they sold out of the pumpkin spice version a few months ago. By pre-ordering, you're guaranteeing the chance to try the puffs.

When do you plan on enjoying your Cocoa Cream Puff? For breakfast or dessert? There's no right answer - let us know in the comments below.

If you're not craving the summer staple, there are other holiday-inspired desserts to purchase. You can also snag a peppermint brownie or chocolate chip cookies at the drive-thru. These are also available for pre-order, and the Original Cream Puff team confirms they are a favorite of Santa's.
