MILWAUKEE —  In Wisconsin's 7th congressional district, which makes up much of northern Wisconsin, from Rhinelander to Wausau and north to Ashland, current U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany (R) is once again seeking to win out over Democratic challenger Tricia Zunker.

"One of my priorities is to get healthcare more affordable," Tiffany recently told Spectrum News 1. "It's to make sure we cover preexisting conditions, and I think there's an avenue for the federal government to be helpful there..."

Tiffany recently beat Zunker in the special election to replace U.S. Rep. Sean Duffy (R).

A former member of the state legislature, Tiffany and his wife, Chris, have lived in the district for the past 30 years and have three daughters.

Spectrum News 1 caught up with both candidates last week. You can watch the full conversation between Jason Fechner and U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany above.
